THE JUNIOR THEATRE FESTIVAL IS AUSTRALIA’S LARGEST CELEBRATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND MUSICAL THEATRE!

JTF Australia is seen in the eyes of the global community as an event meeting the criteria of international standards.

Produced by OzTheatrics and under the educational and artistic supervision of iTheatrics, sponsored by Music Theatre International Australasia, the Junior Theatre Festival Australia (JTF Australia) brings students, teachers and industry professionals together to celebrate outstanding student musical theatre productions.

Aged 8 to 18 years old, our amazing young people compete and train at the Junior Theatre Festival Australia, alongside 1000 young performers from across Australia. Our JTF Team dedicates 3 to 8 hours per week after school to hone their skills.

During JTF Australia, participants have the unique opportunity to audition for the Australian Team. In a groundbreaking achievement, 3 of our young talents secured spots on the 2025 Team during our first audition process last year – an unprecedented accomplishment!

Adding to the accolades, our 2023 Team received the “Most Outstanding Vocals” award in their first year – another indicator of the hard work, diligence and talent that our team values and represents.

These passionate and highly motivated young performers genuinely love what they do. We take immense pride in their representation of our studio at JTF Australia this October, and we look forward to collaborating with you to support their journey to this prestigious event.
