Since opening in 2013, Red Music + Dance has become a welcoming creative community where students develop confidence, creativity and performance skills through the power of the performing arts. Our studio brings together passionate teachers, supportive families and enthusiastic students who share a love for music, dance and theatre.

Our Story
Red Music + Dance was founded by performers and educators Melissa and Rob Mataic, who share a lifelong passion for music, theatre and performance.
Melissa has been teaching since 1999 and trained at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, completing a double degree in Music and Music Education. Over the years she has built a strong reputation as a vocal coach, performer and educator who is passionate about nurturing young performers.
What began as a small singing studio has grown into a thriving performing arts community offering a wide range of programs including dance classes, singing lessons, musical theatre and music tuition.
Today, families from across the Redcliffe Peninsula, North Lakes, Sandgate and North Brisbane travel to Red Music + Dance each week to experience a supportive and inspiring studio environment where students are encouraged to explore their creativity and develop confidence.
